Our incredibly hardworking and brave paramedics held a great day at Huddersfield University on the 8 July celebrating International Paramedics Day. After a lovely picnic the West Yorkshire Ambulance trainee paramedics with West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue and Police put on an amazing display exercise.

Holly had a great time at the event and was honoured to be asked to speak.

Paramedics should be incredibly proud of the job they do saving lives and protecting communities and they deserve every bit of support we can give them. Including the greater protection given to them under the Assaults on Emergency Workers (Offences) Act 2018 which became law after months of hard work and campaigning by Holly and many others as part of Protect The Protectors campaign.
