To the House of Commons,

The petition of residents of the United Kingdom,

Declares that the security situation in Israel and Palestine remains unacceptable with continued human rights violations; further that recent events, particularly in and around the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, and in civilian areas of both Gaza and Israel have seen an increase in violence and deaths in the region.

The petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons urges the Government to put further pressure on the Israeli Government to resolve the long running conflict; and further commit to using all the diplomatic means at our disposal to work with international partners to ensure human rights and international law are respected; and further to support calls for the recognition of Palestine and self-determination for the Palestinian people.
