Constituent Michael Ward suffers from chronic leukemia and several other serious medical conditions yet is being refused the benefits he needs and should be entitled to. I have taken up his case and brought it to the attention of a wider audience  (see here) yet we have found it difficult to resolve. The letter below explains to Iain Duncan Smith the details of the case and urges him to do more to ensure vulnerable people do not experience the same problems with the Department of Work and Pensions in the future.
