A Christmas card designed by a Halifax schoolgirl will be finding its way through the letterboxes of hundreds of people across the country, including the Prime Minister.

Holly has picked her 2016 Christmas card, choosing a design by Moorside Community Primary School pupil Jasmine Jones. The winning card features a drawing of Big Ben, the London Eye and Santa’s sleigh.

Students at the school were encouraged to submit their designs and the winning drawing was picked by Holly earlier this month from over a hundred entries.

The cards have been professionally printed in full colour and include the name and school of the winner.

Holly said:

“I visited Moorside Primary School to announce the winner of my annual Christmas card competition. There were lots of imaginative entries and it was a really difficult choice deciding which one to use.

“I loved Jasmine’s design of a festive Westminster. A big thanks and well done to all the children at Moorside.”
