Holly Lynch MP has nominated The Village restaurant in Sowerby Bridge for a top national curry prize.

The Tiffin Cup is open to all South Asian restaurants in the UK who qualify by being nominated by their local MP. Each MP can nominate one restaurant in their constituency and one restaurant is then shortlisted from each region of the UK. Those on the shortlist go through to the grand final which is hosted in Parliament.

Ms Lynch visited The Village this week alongside Sowerby Bridge councillor Adam Wilkinson to discuss the competition with the restaurant’s owners. She praised the high quality of the food and the stylish décor of the restaurant.
