It was a pleasure to recently join all those graduating from Calderdale College at the Victoria Theatre and I want to wish them all the very best for their bright futures ahead. I was particularly pleased to see Luke Ambler collect the Inspire award for his work on the Andy’s Man Club campaign.

It’s heart-breaking that in this day and age, suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 45 and Luke’s speech after collecting the award was one of the most moving and heartfelt things I have heard in a very long time.

Luke is taking the campaign to Parliament, with a staggering walk all the way from Halifax to London. Keep up the great work Luke, you have my full support and I’ll see you at the finish line!
