Invite you to attend a Dementia Friends Session. This is a one hour information session to help raise awareness of the small everyday things that could make a difference to people living with dementia living in the community.
What is a Dementia Friend?
Dementia Friends is an initiative to help members of the public understand what it might be like to live with dementia and then turn that understanding into action. Alzheimer’s Society has helped 1.4million people become Dementia Friends to help improve the lives of those living with dementia and their carers.
When: 12:30-14:00, Saturday 9th July 2016
(forty-five minute session + time for tea/coffee and to hear about our local services)
Where: Halifax Central Library, Northgate, Halifax HX1 1UN
Please join us by taking action to become a Dementia Friend and help those living with dementia to feel understood and included in the community. Anyone can become a Dementia Friend and all are welcome!
